Thanks Erik for the wonderful pictures of my dad's trees/farm. It's always nice to see others appreciate its beauty as well. Is there any way I could see the all the pictures that were taken that day?

Thanks guys! When I think of Fall in the Midwest, these trees are the first thing in my mind. There is such a captivating presence that words (and digital camera sensors) can't fully articulate their beauty. And personally, this shot was two years in the making. I've been passing this same nursery between St. Louis and Columbia waiting for peak fall foliage over and over during my travels. Last night was that opportunity. Originally the fact that the photo lacked human presence frustrated me, but I think it's actually the lack of human interaction that gives this photo a home in everybody's own little sanctuary. Cheers, and thanks for the comments.
